Recently, I added a Mr. Raul Pineda-Morales to the Most Wanted List. He appears at the top of the list HERE.
Mr. Pineda has been deported back to Mexico twice that I know of and has immediately returned to the Fort Morgan area to continue his criminal activity. Mr. Pineda knows that he has warrants and is not supposed to be here. Subsequently, he runs from law enforcement every time that we see him on the streets. I have personally been involved in several foot chases involving Mr. Pineda.
He is currently wanted on 3 separate warrants. One of the warrants is a failure to appear warrant involving felony menacing with a deadly weapon. If you see this person in the Fort Morgan area, do not approach him and please contact the Morgan County Communications Center at 970-867-5678 (Answering for the Fort Morgan Police Department).
Boy, folks! The most wanted list is getting really long! And that’s just the felony warrants. If I sat down and entered all the outstanding misdemeanor warrants, it would be a full time job!
Anyway, if you see any of these yay-hoos wandering the streets, give us a call.
Recently, public safety agencies here in Morgan County came together and put on the “Every 15 Minutes” program in Brush Colorado. This presentation is an education for youths on the dangers of drinking and driving. Chaylene Kriegh, and EMT with the Morgan County Ambulance Service put this video together following the event.
Can it get any drier out there? Single digit humidities are really making our county a tinderbox. Just a heads up that a burn ban may be coming soon. The forecast calls for a bit of precipitation tomorrow but I am not holding my breath. It’s awful dusty out there too, isn’t it?
There is a bad guy on the streets that we really would like to get scooped up as quick as possible. Please visit the following link for more information and keep your eyes open for this guy and his brother.
You may be wondering why I have not updated the blog with any content. Well, frankly, it’s been quite dead out there on night shift (where I am at now). The only thing to report is speeding tumbleweeds across the roads. It would sure be nice to get some snow…
Don’t worry, when the weather warms up a bit, so will activity. Hopefully, I will have something to post when this happens.
In the meantime, keep checking back for new stuff.
